So I find myself back at the beginning of the newest journey – that being my second challenge. I was pretty happy I didn’t slip up during the ‘off weeks’ but now I need to do a bit of work on getting into need to lose more weight head space.
I had a bit of a knock back last week – where I got the courage to ask a boy out (you know with my new found confidence
…and he actually said no. So guess I kinda beat myself up about that a bit – which is wrong I know but at least it made me realise I haven’t quite gotten over the power food has on me when it comes to emotional eating!
On the plus side my training has stepped up over the past few weeks and although I have been dog tired (in a good way) I have been pleased to see a few 1000+ calorie burning sessions – Ray is never far from my mind lol…wish I could carry him around in my pocket and pull him out when needing the extra motivation! So my goal for the next few weeks to get back on track headspace wise despite the wee setback and look forward to celebrating my birthday being in the 60’s!! : ) which would mean knocking back at least 3.5kgs in the next 4 weeks!
Ciao for now

Hi Ruth, well done for doing well during the break
Boys-oh-boys… sounds cliché, but the right one will come along and you’ll be grateful ‘this’ guy said ‘no’. His loss anyway. I get you though, it’s hard to realized how easy it is to resort to emotional eating again… just when we think we’re safe and past all that! Anyway, hope you’ve had a good week, and that the next one is even better. Take care, Desi

Hi Ruth
Well if he said no, then that’s his loss – not yours – he obviously wasn’t good enough for you!!!!
You are just so awesome with the work that you’re doing, don’t you dare feel down! You can do this, the girl we met at the retreat wouldn’t have allowed this to distract her – well not the girl we met, anyway.
Kepp on – you go girl
